It’s officially autumn! Check out these titles that are newly available for licensing from Concord Theatricals in the UK.

Business Ideas by Milo Cramer (UK)
(Full-Length Play, Dramatic Comedy / 4w)
In a too-cute café, a desperate mother and daughter brainstorm get-rich-quick schemes to pay for university (or maybe to make ends meet?). Meanwhile, their hapless server tries to network with a revolving cast of customers, all hilariously played by one actor. Inspired by playwright Milo Cramer’s own experiences with his enterprising mum, Business Ideas is an award-winning comedy about getting rich (or not?), and whether money really buys happiness – one cup of coffee at a time.

Flight of the Lawnchair Man by Robert Lindsey-Nassif and Peter Ullian (UK)
(Full-Length Musical, Comedy / 5w, 6m + ensemble)
A whimsical musical about an average guy named Jerry from New Jersey who reaches for the sky – quite literally in a lawnchair tied to hundreds of balloons. He launches himself 16,000 feet into the stratosphere, where he meets Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart and Leonardo da Vinci and finds himself faced with a difficult choice: Should he return to his earthbound life or join the Greats of Aviation in the sky?

One of the Good Ones by Gloria Calderón Kellett (UK)
(Full-Length Play, Dramatic Comedy / 2w, 3m)
This hilarious new comedy from the co-creator of the Emmy-winning sitcom One Day at a Time revels in the explosive reaction a Latina daughter sets off when she brings her very white-looking boyfriend home to meet the parents. When Yoli brings home Marcos, her family’s biases and preconceptions are put on full display. As tensions run high and hilarity ensues, everyone must navigate the ins and outs of family dynamics and the boundaries of acceptance – all while tackling the age-old question: What does it truly mean to be an American?
