Glorious! (A Version for Three Actors) by Peter Quilter
(Full-Length Play, Comedy / 2w, 1m)
Florence Foster Jenkins is about to blow your mind… and possibly your eardrums. Glorious! is the true story of American socialite Florence Foster Jenkins, dubbed “the worst singer in the world,” known for her flamboyant costumes, enigmatic performances and decidedly off-key voice. This version of the show for three actors follows Florence’s journey as she prepares for her concerts, builds an unlikely friendship with her accompanist, Cosme, and defies her critics to follow her dreams.
Queens by Martyna Majok
(Full-Length Play, Drama / 8w)
An epic drama about hunting for the American Dream, finding family and facing the ghosts you left behind. In an illegal basement apartment in Queens, multiple generations of immigrant women fight to launch a new life. But when a young Ukrainian woman comes searching for the mother who abandoned her years ago, she forces a reckoning with the impossible choices the women made to survive.
The Burning Cauldron of Fiery Fire by Anne Washburn
(Full-Length Play, Dark Comedy / 3w, 5m)
Somewhere in foggy Northern California, an intentional community tries to live off the land and keep an unsteady world at bay. But when one of their own dies unexpectedly, ideals are tested and faith in their independence is rocked. From the author of Mr. Burns, a post-electric play comes this new dark comedy that is a tender, funny, probing story about a death, a pageant, a rescue, a resurrection, pigs and the act of saying grace. The kids may not be all right.
The Imaginary Invalid (Hatcher) by Jeffrey Hatcher, adapted from the play by Molière
(Full-Length Play, Comedy / 3w, 5m)
A comic whirlwind of pills, lovers, therapies, disguises, vaccinations, impersonations, masks, mindfulness and miracle cures. Monsieur Argan is a notorious hypochondriac whose nonexistent illnesses blind him to the con men and women (his new wife) who prey on his fears to fatten their purses. His plan: marry his daughter to a doctor so he’ll have free round-the-clock on-site healthcare for the rest of his life. Newly translated by Mirabelle Ordinaire and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, this is a brilliant satire of the doctors, lawyers and would-be patients who take self-care to staggering levels of pathology.
